Your true freedom comes to you when you stop acting and go back to your true self.
I have met so many people who have no idea who they are, they have spent all their days acting. They believe they need to be this other person and they take on new roles. People will encourage you to act and be someone else. As they say we are all in sales, we are told to act to get a job, to act with people at work, to act at social events, even to act around family. One of my favorites is to fake it until you make it. I understand I have done the same acting for years.
The other day I was given a presentation and told to memorize it and present it to the group. I completely failed the test. I was reading the script and not believing a word I was saying and everyone could feel it. I had to take the key point they were trying to present and merge in myself and my story. Then I can tell the true story and feel better and the group enjoyed the presentation much better.
I believe over the course of life our roles in life will change based on our experiences, as will your true self. But to act as someone you are not at this moment will not feel good and others will see it right away. I know when you stop acting and focus on joy and love you will see the wonderful person you are. You will feel free and wonderful being you.
Much joy and love to you and yours
