Happiness

It is a choice.

​The other day I heard this lady on a call full of spirit and seemed very happy.  Another lady put her on mute and said I wonder what she is drinking.  Then later complained about getting old and grumpy, I said you can change your actions in a blink of an eye.  She laughed and we went on with the day.

All too often people allow things and thoughts in and they forget to be happy.  You hear them complain about the traffic or the weather every morning, then they turn to me and I sit there smiling.  I tell them I pick being happy and I am.  I listen to audio books on my drive to and from work, so I never really think about traffic.  I enjoy the weather and say it’s the season for whatever. 

Oh I can have bad moments and get down.  When I do I find something to laugh about or smile.  I listen to a wonderful song or watch a movie or pick up a book.  Soon enough I forget about being upset and focus on happiness.

I believe God’s will for me is perfect happiness, what about you.  Just smile and go with it.
