Yesterday I had a wonderful time visiting with my mother. She is 91 and spends most of her time talking about the old days. Most of the time she talks about times before I was born, so I ask questions. This weekend I asked her if she wished anything could have been different. She surprised me by saying you can’t change your past events, you can only change the way you remember them. Wow what a great concept, never of the past really can harm us unless we allow it to. So, take time and change those memories and life gets all that much better. Later my mother told me her favorite song of all time, HARBOR LIGHTS. I don’t ever remember hearing that song. I went home and listened to the song. It really is a beautiful song.
