When I was young I would just go out and workout to sweat out the hurt. Yes, that is what young men do when they feel hurt. It really worked for me, I felt better and my mind was completely off the hurt.
As I grew older the working out process did not seem to work. I knew I had to change my thinking, but was not sure what to do at first. Then it hit me I need to see other beauty and allow the love into my heart. I would enjoy flowers, art work and hunt for other beautiful objects. As I took my mind off of myself and my hurt, I noticed beauty was all around me. As I put my focus on that beauty I felt wonderful inside and my heart felt better.
The healing process does take time for both physical hurts and heart hurts. Just relax and allow the healing process to work.
