Well this seems like a nice seat; maybe this will not be too bad. They came around and checked our seat belts; I wondered why do we need to be locked in so tight. Then it started, the roller coaster was moving very slow up this ramp. My niece was laughing in excitement, she said when we reach the top make sure you keep your eyes open you are in for a great surprise. I thought to myself, what surprise, wasn’t it enough that I am on this ride. As we got closer to the top I looked around and said this is really a great view. Then I looked down and thought oh my god, once it get to the top we will be going down very fast. No, we better stop this ride, where is the turn back switch. I had my fun now its time to go back.
We reached the top and everyone yelled, I too yelled oh my god what did I do. As I was speeding down I felt a rush, wow this feels good. The ride then made a few sharp turns and sure enough started up another ramp. I looked over at my niece she was full of joy and I though wow I am glad I went on this ride with her. Oh no we just got to another top and down we went again, the second rush was better I knew what was happening. It was a fun rush and what made it really great was sharing that ride with someone I loved.
I believe that day we rode that same ride four times. I never told her how she got me to do something I thought I never would and yet I loved it. To this day I love the roller coaster ride, especially when I can share the ride with my family.
Remember sometime you need to do things you never thought you would for your family. In the end it’s the trill of joy and love that makes it all that much better.
