You know growing up in a military family there are somethings you take as normal until you go out to the rest of the world. For example when you go to the movies the very first film you watch is our national anthem, everyone stands and either placed on their hand on their chest or salute. Another example is at 5PM. Every day at 5PM everything stopped, nobody entered the base, all cars stopped and people got out of their cars, this was done while they played retreat and took down the flag.
As you can see everyone had respect for the flag and our country. To me this is all about joy and love of the United States and our Service Men and Women demonstrate their love everyday on the field to protect us. Thank you
To honor them today, let’s all sing a song.
Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
Much Joy and Love to you and yours
