John thought hard about his actions and was determined to change his to love. The day started out with him cleaning Carie’s bed, and he noticed it did not smell as bad today. He took his time and placed love in his actions.
Later they were at the park and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. When they were done and ready to leave Beth told John, make sure you clean up our mess and the mess the others left behind. John questioned why, and Beth simply told him if you respect the park you will make sure it’s clean.
When they stopped at the store, John said I will wait here with Carie. Beth said, no you need to come in I know you are concerned with judging. Let me tell you a secret, yesterday you looked at the people as if they were judging you and Carie, today change that thought to love. As they went into the store John did just that and sent loving thoughts to everyone. Sure enough people were smiling and saying hello to them. Hmmm this changing thoughts works.
That night Beth told John, Giving your love unconditional is freeing in itself. You do the best job you can, and love everything you do and everyone you meet. The greatest lesson I learned was from my sister. Over the next couple weeks you will learn this lesson too. You just need to love what you are doing and do your best. Never think of it as work, or if I do this I will gain that. Just do it out of love and the love will flow with you. Loving others is not about receiving love back, it’s getting into the flow of that love.
Give it a try, change your thoughts to love and watch the change right in front of you.
Just yesterday, I was walking from the office. It was raining and everyone had their umbrellas up and head down. As I stopped on a corner I noticed a rainbow, I put my umbrella down and yelled it out, look a rainbow. People all around me also stopped and enjoy the rays of sun shining in our lives.
Much joy and love to you and yours
