Today my daughter Kaitlyn graduates from High School, way to go. You know over the course of those 12 years it was hard in the beginning and later was so much easier for both her and I. I remember the late night projects that had be completed for tomorrow and the quizzing to prepare her for a test coming up the next day. It took a lot of coaching, support, encouragement, and at times just being there each step of the way. Over time she took off in a new wonderful direction and was on her own with the projects and work, with me peeking around the corners just to be there. Way to go Kaitlyn I am so proud of you.
As I was thinking about Graduations and how it is a celebration of completing a phase in life the thought came to me to change birthdays to graduations. Just think about it you set an intention for the year, you get some help along the way with coaching, reading, studying, and support. Soon enough you complete another phase of growth and you enjoy the joy and love you discovered along the path. All too often the journey is just a long ride sitting in the backseat while someone else drives you. Turn that around and take control and watch it get really really exciting.
Much Joy and Love to you and yours
