Then there are other reasons for stress, it could be work, money, relationships, health, etc. For the most part the stress is in your mind and you can reduce it. Meditation will help reduce the feelings and help you let it go. There are long meditations, however, let me give you a very short one. This meditation can take 5 second or a few minutes. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, think of a place you love, be there in your mind, than let the breath go, open your eyes and think about that moment. It is a wonderful stress releaser. If you have more time, you can take more deep breaths and stay at the place you love a little longer.
Stress needs to be released or it will bring other health issues to you. Longer meditations do help reduce stress, however, if it been going on seek professional help. I had a friend a few years ago, who was stressed about everything. He would stress out about the changing of seasons, about family, about work, about money, on an on. I told him he really needs to get help, but he stressed out about that too. I didn’t see him for a while, then out of nowhere I saw him. I was not sure it was him, he was so thin and aged. It was so hard to talk with him, because he was still stressed. I asked him if he got some help, he said no. My friend had a heart attack the next week and he was gone. Don’t let this happen to you, get the help if needed.
Let me end this on a positive note. When you focus your mind on joy and love, you feel happy. When you feel happy you’re not stressed. Find my time for joy and love and life will be so much better. I wish you all the joy and love.
