John’s first day did not start out as he thought it would be. He woke up made some coffee and was sitting on the deck relaxing, when Beth came to him. Beth said, what are you doing we have a ton of things to do. I need you to clean Carie’s bed, make breakfast, pack a lunch for later, and then we need to go to the gym and store.
John was puzzled but jumped up and cleaned Carie’s bed, and noticed the smell, yuck. He asked questions about breakfast, because he never ate breakfast. John continued running around to the demands of Beth all day. After dinner and Beth putting Carie to bed, John said we need to talk. That was when John questioned the day. You are working me so hard, I thought we were going to study love and meditate, etc…
Beth said, Love is not something you study or meditate on, it’s an action. When you completely give your all to love you will see it come back, but you need to take action in love first. You say you worked hard, I say it was a labor of love and joy. Each task you did today you did not do in love you did it to get it over. The quality of your actions reflects your love, and right now I can tell you are not loving the day. If you want to go, you can leave, but if you stay you must slow down and put love in your efforts. When you truly take action in love you will see wonderful results, this is your lesson for today.
Take some time and think about your tasks for the day. As you take your steps to complete them put more joy and love in each task.
Much joy and love to you and yours
