I thought to myself, what is the difference between all these people. It don’t believe it’s their clothes, then I looked at their faces. Some were smiling and some looked sad. Some seem to glow in excitement and others had this grey gloom look of sadness. There was a part of me waiting to hug the sad people and ask the happy people their secret, but I just watched them and sent them all love.
Finally the train arrived, it’s always funny when the train arrives people push and rush to get on the train. They are looking for their special seat. I found my seat and relaxed and thought what shall I do on my ride home tonight? Most times I am either writing or reading. I love my train time, it’s the only time of day I have no demands on me to do anything. I guess that is why I write so much on the train. On that ride home, it’s like I enter a special place where I am at total peace. Well, anyway I decide tonight will be reading night. Just as I started to read, I looked out the window and noticed all the trees with flowers and think wow spring is here.
I went back to reading and was really into this new book, when the author raised a question about my intent on happiness. That got me thinking and as I was thinking I looked out the window again, and noticed people were waving to us. I thought that is wonderful they don’t know us and yet they wave to us, they don’t even know if we see them. Then I saw a whole family waving, I waved back like crazy and one little girl noticed I was waving back. She jumped for joy and got excited and I could read her mouth say Hi my friend.
I guess that little girl summed up my intent for happiness. To wave at people and get them jumping for joy with love. Hi my friend…
